Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.

Meanwhile, add corn flour, maida, salt and chilli powder in a bowl and add water to mix. Make a free flowing batter. The consistency should not be too runny.

Dip the paneer cubes in the batter and deep fry in the hot oil. Turn the heat medium and fry until golden and crisp.

Drain them on a paper towel.

Then add 1tsp corn flour to a bowl and add water

For the sauce, heat oil in high flame.

Add ginger and garlic and cook until the raw aroma disappears.then add the onion and chilli and saute for a minute or two.

Pour soya sauce, tomato ketchup and the corn slurry (cornflour mixed with water) and stir so that no Lumos are formed.

Add more water if needed.

Add salt, sugar and vinegar and allow the sauce to thicken up.

Turn off the flame and add the fried paneer and some spring onion. Serve it hot.
