Ingredients

  1. 1 cupArhar dal washed soaked
  2. 1 tbsppeanuts
  3. 1medium tomato chopped
  4. 1/4 tspGinger grated
  5. 1/4 tspGreen chillies chopped
  6. Fewcurry leaves
  7. 2cloves
  8. 1bay leaf
  9. 1/2 inchcinnamon stick
  10. 2dry red chillies
  11. 1/4 tsprai
  12. 1/4 tspjeera
  13. 1/4 tspfenugreek seeds
  14. 1/4 tsphing
  15. 1 tbspJaggery
  16. 1 tsplime juice
  17. 1 tspoil
  18. to tasteSalt
  19. 1/4 tsphaldi
  20. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  21. Fordough :
  22. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  23. to tasteSalt
  24. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  25. 1/4 tsphaldi
  26. 1/4 tspAjwain
  27. 1 tspoil
  28. as requiredCoriander leaves to garnish

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl take wheat flour. Add salt red chilli powder haldi and oil.

    Mix well and knead soft dough. Keep aside to rest for 5 mins.

    In a pressure cooker take dal. Add salt and haldi and peanuts.

    Put glass of water and pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.

    When pressure is released. Mix well and keep aside.

    Now prepare tadka by heating oil in a pan.

    Put rai jeera methi dana hing bay leaf cloves cinnamon stick.

    Now put ginger chilli curry leaves.

    Add chopped tomatoes.

    Add all dry masalas.

    Now pour this tadka in boiled dal. Mix well.

    Put Jaggery and lime juice. Mix it and put on flame to boil.

    Now take dough and roll chapatti and cut into desired pieces and put in boiling dal.

    Accordingly make all dhoklis and put in dal.

    Keep stirring continuously and let dhoklis cook for 5 mins.

    When done transfer it in serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serve hot one pot meal.

    Enjoy it in dinner.
