Ingredients

  1. 1 cupArhar/ tuver dal
  2. 1 tbspPeanuts
  3. 1Tomato medium chopped
  4. 1 tspGreen chillies chopped
  5. 1/2 tspGinger
  6. 1/2 tspRai
  7. 1/2 tspJeera
  8. 1/4 tspMethi dana
  9. 2-3Clove
  10. 1Tej patta
  11. 1pieceDal chini
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 1 tbspGud/ jaggery
  14. 1 tspLemon juice
  15. 1/2 tspLal mirchi powder
  16. 1/2 tspHaldi
  17. 1/2 tspDhania powder
  18. 1/4 tspHing
  19. Curry leaves few
  20. Coriander leaves to garnish
  21. For dokhli dough
  22. 1 cupWheat flour
  23. to tasteSalt
  24. 1/2 tspLal mirchi powder
  25. 1/4 tspHaldi
  26. 1/4 tspAjwain
  27. 1-2 tbspOil

Cooking Instructions

    In a vessel take wheat flour.

    Add salt, lal mirchi powder, haldi, ajwain and oil

  3. 3

    Mix and rub well and knead firm dough. Gv rest for 5-10mins.

    Now in a cooker put washed m soaked dal.

    Add salt and haldi, adrak, green mirchi and peanuts. Cook for 10 - mins

    Now prepare tadka. Heat oil in a pan out rai, jeera, hing, methi dana, laving, tej patta, dal chini. Saute for a min.

    Add chopped tomatoes and curry leaves.

    Add salt, red mirchi.haldi., gur and mix well. Add water and pour over boiled dal. Mix well.

    Add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Bring to a boil.

    Now take very small portion of dough and make lemon size balls and put in dal to gv boil till balls come up.

    Cook till done.

    Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
