Ingredients

  1. 250 gm parval
  2. 1tablespoon peanuts
  3. 1tablespoon sesame seeds
  4. 1teaspoon poppy seeds
  5. 2teaspoon coriander seeds
  6. 1teaspoon cashew nuts
  7. 2small sticks of cinnamon
  8. 2whole dry red chillies
  9. 1teaspoon cloves
  10. 2-3green Elaichi
  11. 2teaspoon red chilli powder
  12. 2teaspoon coriander and jeera powder
  13. 1teaspoon turmeric
  14. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly wash the parvals well then slightly peel the cover and cut them half.
    Take a pan and add all the dry ingredients such as peanuts, cashewnuts, seasme seeds, coriander seeds, poppy seeds, dry chillies, cinnamon sticks, cloves and roast them well. Once they are roasted we’ll grind them in mixer. Once the fine powder is ready add salt to taste, turmeric and coriander and jeera powder mix it well and then stuff the masala in the half cut parval.

    Now take a pan add 2 - 3 tablespoon of oil, fry the stuff parvals in the hot oil also put a lid and let it cook. Once you find the parvals are now soft add red chilli powder to it and the left over masala and almost 1-2 cups of water for gravy. Put the lid and now let everything cook well. Once the masala and parvals are ready it will start leaving oil mix it well and bharva parwal are ready to be served.

    Tip : For thickness of gravy we can add 1 boiled potato and for tanginess can add amchur too. This is optional. Awesome thick gravy Bharva parval are ready to be served with hot rice and roti. Enjoy !
