Cooking Instructions

Take bowl add besan and 2 tbsp and mix well from hand.

Thereafter, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt, grated ginger, ajwain, cumin powder and kasuri methi, baking powder and knead stiff dough by using required amount of water.

Apply 1 tsp oil and knead dough for 5 minutes.

Take lemon sized dough and roll the gatte into half inch cylinderical shape and also cut into half inch pieces.

Like wise roll and cut all the gatte.

Heat the remaining 2 tbsp oil add the gatte pieces. Stir the gatte, so that oil coats the gatte.

Now keep the flame medium and allow the gatte to cook for 2 minutes.stir gently.

Stir gatte after every 2 minutes.

Like this, cook gatte for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, keep the flame high and stir gatte continuosly for 1 minute.

After 1 minute, switch off the gas and cool the gatte in the same pan.

After cooling, serve gatte with tea.

Keep the Namkeen Gatte in air tight container and relish for 7 days.
