Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  2. 1/4 cupdesi ghee
  3. 1 tbspgram flour
  4. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  5. 1/2 cupjaggery
  6. 1 1/2 cup water
  7. 1 tbsppoppy seeds
  8. as needed almonds flakes for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    First heat a wok or pan with ghee.once ghee melted add wheat flour and roast for few minutes until it starts to change its colour on low to medium heat.

    Add gram flour and roast for another few minutes until it gets nice in colour and aromatic.

    Meanwhile in a pan add jaggery along with water, stir until jaggery dissolved completely, cook for another 2 mins and switch off the flame.

    Now gradually add jaggery water to the pan and stir continuously.

    Now add cardamom powder and poppy seeds mix well and switch off the flame.

  6. 6

    Delicious wheat flour jaggery halwa is ready to serve,. Garnish with some chopped nuts of your choice.
