Ingredients

approx 1 hour
  1. 1-1/2 cupsGhee/ Butter
  2. 3 cupsSuji
  3. 1-1/2 cupcrushed coconut
  4. 1/2 cupRaisins
  5. Chopped Almonds and Pistachio as required
  6. 1-1/2 cupSugar
  7. 1/2 cup + 1/4 cupMilk
  8. 1 tbspKewra water
  9. Chopped Almonds and Pistachio for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    In a pan add ghee and suji and mix it well on medium low flame until fragrance come out.

    Now add 1-1/2 cup crushed coconut, 1/2 cup raisins and chopped. Almonds and Pistachio as required. Mix well. Mix continuously for 10 -15 minutes till suji changes it's color to golden.

    Add 1-1/2 cup sugar. Mix it well till sugar dossolved.

    Add 1/2 çup+1/4 cup milk. Stir continuously on medium low flame.

    Halwa starts sticking together than it's the sign that it's ready.

    Immediately put halwa in greased pan and level with any spoon or plain object. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits on top.Garnish with silver paper (optional).Cut them into your favorite shape.

    Leave it on room temperature for 2-3 hours to set completely. It's so perfect simple and delicious recipe. Let's enjoy ☺️
