Every year, I eagerly look forward to the conclusion of Navratri as it is marked with the divine combination of halwa, puri and kale chane

Puris are made with a simple dough prepared with just wheat flour and water, and I had already uploaded the recipe of sooji halwa last time, so this navratri, I am sharing my recipe of Kale Chane ki Sabji

It only requires a handful of ingredients and a few mins to bring everything together. Do give it a try! 🙌🏼

Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 1 cupsoaked kala chana
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tspcoriander powder
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspamchoor powder
  7. 2 tbspdesi ghee
  8. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  9. 2-3chopped green chillies
  10. as requiredChopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, combine salt, turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder and amchoor powder.

    Add 1/4 cup water to it.

    Stir using a spoon and keep the mix aside.

    In a kadhai, heat desi ghee and add cumin seeds. Cook till they crackle.

    Add green chillies and cook for 1-2 mins on low flame.

  6. 6

    Add the masala mixture and cook for 1-2 mins on high flame.

    Add soaked kala chana and mix. If it feels too dry, add a little water. Cover with a lid and cook for 8-10 mins on low flame.

    Add fresh chopped coriander and mix.

    Serve chane ki sabji with sooji halwa and puris.
