Ingredients

35 minutes
Tea Time Snack
  1. For Stuffing
  2. 300 gramsless spice big chillies
  3. 1/2 litrewater
  4. 5big sized potatoes
  5. 1onion
  6. 5-6hot chillies
  7. 1 tbspchilli garlic ginger paste
  8. 2 tbspchopped coriander
  9. 1 tspsalt
  10. 1/2 tspchilli powder
  11. 1 tbsplemon juice
  12. For Outer Layer
  13. 1 cupbesan/ gram flour
  14. 1/8 cuprice flour
  15. 1 tspsalt
  16. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  17. 1/4 tbspsoda by carb
  18. 1 tbsphot oil
  19. 1 glasswater to use for besan slurry
  20. Oil for frying
  21. as neededTomato sauce
  22. Cupmasala tea

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
    For the besan slurry,add besan and Rice flour in a mixing bowl.
    Add salt and turmeric powder.mix well
    Now add water in a batches and make thick slurry.
    Beat the mixture for 3-4 minutes to get light and fluffy.
    Cover it and give rest for 10 minutes.

    In the meantime,
    Make a cut in the chillies.
    Remove the seeds and vains.
    Boil the water,add hollow chillies in the water, switch off the flame.
    Cover the pan and leave for 3-4 minutes.
    After that remove from the water
    Dry the chillies with cotton cloth.

    Now make a stuffing..
    Add chopped onion and chillies in the pan,dry roast till onion get soft.
    Now add chilli powder, turmeric powder,salt,lemon juice,fresh coriander and Chilli garlic ginger paste.
    Mix properly.then transfer the mixture in the dish to cool down.

    Now stuff the potato mixture in the chillies.keep chillies ready.
    Heat the oil
    Add oil and soda by carb in the besan slurry.. beat again.
    Now dip the stuffed chillies in the besan mixture and put it in the hot oil.
    Fry on medium hot oil until outer layer fry well and get crispy.
    Remove on kitchen paper to absorb extra oil.

    Stuffed Chilli Pakoda are ready.
    Put them in serving plate.
    Serve with Tomato sauce and masala tea
