Sago or Sabudana bombs are sago potato balls with kid's favorite cheese and Italian herbs filling in the centre.
Very easy yet mouthwatering finger licking snack and a delectable starter.
Very ideal for any party.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsago or sabudana soaked overnight
  2. 4medium sized potatoes boiled, and mashed
  3. 1/2 teaspoonsalt or as per the taste
  4. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder or as per the taste
  5. For filling
  6. 2cheese cubes cut into smaller size cubes
  7. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  8. 1/4th teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  9. 1 teaspoonItalian herbs or oregano
  10. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak sabudana in water for 5 to 6 hrs or overnight, water should be just levelled to dip Sabudaana.

    Mix ingredients for filling in a bowl

    Mix all the ingredients, to make the potato - sago mixture in another bowl.

    Take a small portion of the potato - sago mixture, flatten it and put a small herbed cheese cube and seal from all sides properly to give a round shape, So that cheese doesn't comes out while frying.

    Make all the sago bombs likewise.

    Deep fry in batches of 3 or 4 in medium hot oil until golden brown and crisp.

    Keep turning in between for an even colour.

    Drain them out on absorbent paper.

  9. 9

    Serve the cheesy sago bombs hot with coriander mint chutney and ketchup.
    Enjoy endlessly.
