Tiramisu Made with Whipping Cream & Cream Cheese Tiramisu Made with Whipping Cream & Cream Cheese
Week 5I didn’t know what Tiramisu tasted like until I tried it, but once I did, I was hooked. The rich creaminess from the cream cheese, the sweet flavor from the whipping cream, the aroma of rum, and the bitterness of coffee make it irresistible.Tiramisu originated in Italy, and its name means "pick me up." It represents the stages of love: bitterness, sweetness, passion, and tenderness. Nowadays, Tiramisu comes in many variations, using different cakes like chiffon, sponge, champagne, and flavors like matcha, lemon, and strawberry to make it even more diverse. Chocolate tiramisu Chocolate tiramisu
For about three straight years during the early 2010's, my go-to Christmas gift for close friends and family was homemade tiramisu. They were pretty elaborate things fit for the season, courtesy a recipe from Anna Olson. For this Christmas, I decided to revisit tiramisu, but because it's only for ourselves I pared it way down. I also bumped up the chocolate content, for my wife and daughter. No surprise, they loved it. Robert Gonzal -

This recipes is the result of a lot of trial and error. I've been making this for the past 10 years. This time, I made it for my hubby's 40th birthday. The strawberry compote is just a mix of strawberries and sugar simmered together. You could also make this the traditional way and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. I topped it with strawberry compote based on my hubby's request. Coating the biscuits with a generous amount of butter will make it crunchy. Recipe by Mon*chou-chou* cookpad.japan -

Tiramisu with Yogurt Cream Cheese Tiramisu with Yogurt Cream Cheese
I tried using Greek-style yogurt instead of the more standard cream cheese to make tiramisu. You can warm the egg yolks up in a bain-marie if you like. I made the tiramisu with castella sponge cake this time. If you make the tiramisu in glass containers or cocottes, not only will they look super stylish, but you also don't have to bother cutting it up. If you don't want any cream mixture left over at all then try reducing the amount of yogurt by 30 g. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -
