Ingredients

  1. 9-10baby potatoes boiled
  2. 1Onion
  3. 1Tomato
  4. 3-4garlic cloves
  5. 1 inchginger
  6. 1green chilli
  7. 3-4dry red kashimri chilli
  8. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander seeds
  11. 1/2 tspajwain
  12. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  13. 5-6peppercorns
  14. 1black cardamom
  15. 1/3 tspturmeric (optional)
  16. 1bay leaf
  17. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  18. 1/2 tspkasuri methi
  19. to tasteSalt
  20. as neededWater

Cooking Instructions

30-35minutes

    Take a grinder add onion, tomato, garlic, green chilli,ginger, cumin, ajwain, fennel seeds,1-2 dry red chilli, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, peppercorns & 1tbsp water grind till smooth paste.

    Prick all the boiled potatoes with toothpick.

    Then Take a small kadhai heat oil and shallow fry boiled baby potatoes.

    Take a pan heat on add 1 tbsp mustard oil add bay leaf and black cardamom and dry red chilli saute for few second.

    Then add the grind paste and saute 7-8 minutes.

    Then add red chilli powder, salt, pinch of turmeric powder and add 1.5 cup water stir well.

    Add fried potatoes and kasuri methi.

  8. 8

    Cover the pan and simmer for 10-12 minutes.

    Ready serve.
