Cooking Instructions

Heat 1tbs ghee and roast seviyan and remove it.

Heat remaining ghee add dryfruits, crushed cardamom and milk and food colour
- 3
When milk start boiling add seviyan mix well and lower the gas and cover with lid.
- 4
When it's getting dry add sugar and mix well. Keep on dum for 5 mins.

Serve hot.

My mom would cook these for me mostly as an evening snack when I was in high school and would get back home from either after school tuitions or a game of cricket with friends. And every single time, I would absolutely gorge on them (and would be left wanting for more!). Believe it or not, I never got around to making them for years because I was too busy finishing my PhD (such sacrifice, right? :P).
