Chickpea flour savoury pancake

In India, they call it besan cheela which is made using finely ground chickpea flour otherwise known as gram flour. I happened to buy some chickpea flour here in one the stores from a local brand. I added some grated vegetables to the batter and tried to make these similar to cheelas and they turned out so delicious that I couldn’t wait to share the recipe. These pancakes are so healthy and delicious. And needs no side really! #chickpeaflour #worldpulseday #chickpeas #chickpeapancakes #savourypancakes

I had some leftover chickpea flour, so I made them into pancakes. Even though it was my first time making them, they turned out great and were delicious.Don't add the water all at once; add it a little at a time while checking the consistency of the batter. You should only need to add olive oil once to the frying pan.If serving with cheese, I recommend reducing the amount of salt. I used 1/2 teaspoon salt. When making larger pancakes, use 3 tablespoons of the batter. Recipe by Brandy cookpad.japan -

Chewy Steamed Bread with Pancake Mix & Bread Flour Chewy Steamed Bread with Pancake Mix & Bread Flour
I really wanted to eat some chewy steamed bread but when I tried to make it with shiratamako, it just wouldn't mix.I should use it for dango instead, so I tried with bread flour and it went quite well.・Pancake mix is a little sweet, whereas rice flour is not, so it needs a bit more sugar than the recipes that use 100% pancake mix.・These have a really light taste so they go well with jam or something similar. This is an easier version of the recipe I was taught. The taste and flavor are completely different. But these pancakes are plenty delicious and my son eats them up as a snack. Recipe by Mairebo cookpad.japan
