Plantain is a carbohydrate source,good for diet. It has utilizable protein and low fat content.

Plantains are rich in nutrients and dietary fibre.They are also rich in potassium and in Vitamin A and C .They are good antioxident as well.(Plantains are  not to be confused with bananas.Plantains are bigger than bananas and hard to peel. Raw  plantains are  used like potatoes or vegetables )They are specially  good for making chips Well ripe plantains  are usually roasted in ghee or baked .Now  I tried  a different snack  and it is really a delicious and healthy  snack

I rearranged a recipe that I saw in a magazine about 15 years ago (the recipe used whole garlic cloves).Step 1: It's fine if you don't cut the garlic, but since it's convenient to use when cooking, I use sliced garlic.If you don't use enough garlic, the oil won't have a nice aroma, so it's a good idea to use a lot. I made this bread for my daughter who has flour and egg allergies.It's best to use rice flour with a thickening agent and trehalose in it. If using other flours, it might not be as fine and won't be able to absorb the moisture well enough, so they might not be good to use. Recipe by Chihimari
