Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsidli rava
  2. 1 cupurad
  3. 1sp methi seeds
  4. 1/2 cuppoha
  5. For sambar
  6. 2 cupstuvar dal
  7. 1 cupmix veges(brinjal,tometo,onion,drumstick,)
  8. 1sp haldi
  9. 2sp oil
  10. 2sp sambar masala
  11. 1so chilly powder
  12. 5,6curry leaves
  13. 1sp mustered seeds
  14. 1green chilly
  15. For chetney
  16. 1 cupcoconut grated
  17. 3sp rosted chanadal
  18. 3green chillies
  19. 4,5garlic pods
  20. to tasteSalt
  21. For tadaka
  22. 2sp oil
  23. 1sp mustered seeds
  24. 1sp jeera
  25. 5curry leaves

Cooking Instructions

    For batter wash and soak urad,methi seeds,poha for 2,3hours. Soak rice rava too. Then grind dal,methi seeds,poha to smooth paste mix with rava(remove soaked water)and mix it with hands and cover keep for overnight for fermentation.

    Heat steamer and grease idli moulds and pour a spoonful of batter (add salt to taste) and steam for 10,12min.cool for a while remove from moulds and idlis are ready.

    Pressure cook dal with all veges add turmeric powder and oil for 2 whistle. Heat kadai add oil,mustered seeds green chilly, curry leaves add cooked dal and veges mix well then add sambar masala,chilly powder,salt to taste cook till boil add corriander leaves and grated coconut and sambar is ready.

    In a mixijar add coconut,rosted chanadal, chillies garlic pods,salt and grind to powder then add enough water to make consistency. Heat oil in tadaka pan add musterd seeds,jeera, curry leaves add to chetney and it's ready.

    In serving plate arrange idli,sambar,and coconut chutney and enjoy.
