Rolled Cabbage and Cured Ham

I love cabbage and cured ham. This is the type of recipe a drinker thinks up.
Wrap the cabbage as tightly as possible. This way the rolls will look very nice when cut.
Two of my nutritionist friends tried these out, and they both liked the sesame oil version better to my surprise. Choose whichever version you like. Recipe by kookuro

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash 3 outer leaves of cabbage. Even if you rip them at this point it's ok since you'll be rolling them later.
- 2
Cover loosely with plastic wrap on a heatproof dish, and microwave for 1 and a half minutes at 600w. If you're cooking 2 leaves, do so for 1 minute.
- 3
Let the cabbage cool down. This is faster if you put them on a sieve.
- 4
Shave off some of the core part to make it thinner and easier to roll.
- 5
Spread out the cabbage leaves, and spread them with either the ○ combination (sesame oil + sesame seeds) or the ☆ combination (olive oil + black pepper).
- 6
Lay the cured ham slices on the cabbage leaves, and roll them up as tightly as you can, so that the cut edges will be nice and pretty.
- 7
Cut up the rolls and line them up on a serving plate. Drizzle some more ○ or ☆ on top to taste to finish.

Fried Cabbage With Ham Fried Cabbage With Ham
Bacon is traditionally used in this dish, but I rarely have it on hand. You can use ham steaks, leftover baked ham, or even lunch meat from the deli. This goes great with pork chops, corned beef, smoked sausage, etc. Don't be afraid of overfilling the pan, it will shrink down considerably as it cooks. Jake Grogan -
