Ingredients

  1. 250gm/ 2 large beetroots
  2. 3potatoes
  3. 1/2 spoonturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 spoonRed chilli powder
  5. 1 spoonfennel seeds powder
  6. 1/2 spoongaram masala powder
  7. 1 spoondry Coriander powder
  8. 1 spoonchaat masala
  9. 1 spoonaamchur / dry mango powder / lemon juice
  10. 1green chilli chopped
  11. 1 spoonblack salt
  12. 1 spoonminced ginger
  13. 2 spooncornflour / 2 bread slices soaked in water & squzzed
  14. 1/2 cupsemolina
  15. As neededOil for pan frying

Cooking Instructions

    In presser cooker boil beetroots and potetoes together with salt and enough water for 6-7 whistles.

    Drain water then peel and grate beetroot in bowl peel potatoes and grate in same bowl
    Add all spice powders green chillies salt cornflour mix well

  3. 3

    Take ball sized mixter in hand and gives a round Pattice or tikkies shape

  4. 4

    Take some roasted semolina in a plate place each cutlet on it and coat on all sides by semolina

  5. 5

    Dust off extra semolina.
    In pan add some oil and fry till crispy and golden. Fry both sides.

    Serve hot with chutney sauce or any dip.
