Ingredients

15-20 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 1 cupoats(instant oats or alternatively rolled oats can be used
  2. 1/2cup+ more water
  3. 2 tbsgram flour (besan)
  4. 2 tbspturmeric powder (haldi)(optional)
  5. 1 tsp coriander seeds (Dhaniya) powder
  6. 1 tspajwain
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. as per needFinely chopped (Green chillies, ginger, onion, capsicum, carrot, coriander)
  9. as requiredOil(for frying)
  10. as requiredRoughly crushed panner
  11. as requiredBlack pepper

Cooking Instructions

15-20 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a mixing bowl, add 1 oats

  2. 2

    Add 1/4 cup water, mix it and leave for 5 min check after 5 min, add more 3-4 tbsp water if the mixture is too thick

    Add 2 tbs gram flour (besan)

  4. 4

    1/2 tbsp turmeric powder (haldi)

  5. 5

    Add 1 tsp coriander seeds (Dhanya) powder

  6. 6

    Add 1 tsp ajwain

  7. 7

    Add salt as per taste

  8. 8

    Combine everything together

  9. 9

    Now add finely chopped veggies as per your choice

    Mix it well
    Heat up the pan

  11. 11

    Add some oil and wipe with a tissue

  12. 12

    Add batter to the pan to make 3-4 small Chilas
    Drizzle some oil around

    When chila turns dry, add some grated paneer on top.

    Add some chopped veggies

  15. 15

    Sprinkle some black pepper & salt

  16. 16

    Flip Chilas and cook other side too

  17. 17

    Cook until it turns golden brown
    (Make more Chilas with the same procedure)

  18. 18

    Serve scrumptious oats paneer chilla/ omelette with tomato ketchup.
