Ingredients

25 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 3 cupcooked Rice
  2. 1medium Onion
  3. 1medium Tomato
  4. 5-6Garlic
  5. 1/2Ginger
  6. 3-4Green Chillies
  7. 6-7Cauliflower florets
  8. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  9. 1/2 cupdiced Carrot
  10. 3/4 cupdiced Capsicum
  11. 1 cupchopped Cabbage
  12. 1small Potato (pre boiled)
  13. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  14. 2-3 tbspButter, 1 tsp Oil
  15. 1 tbspPav Bhaji Masala
  16. 1/2-1 tspRed chilli powder
  17. 1/2Lemon
  18. Salt as required

Cooking Instructions

    Roughly chop all veggies, cut potatoes into cubes.
    Blanch green peas and keep aside.

    Assemble ingredients

    Heat oil + butter in a tawa / Wok, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add garlic ginger sauté for few seconds and then add onion and sauté till light golden yellow.

    Add carrot + green chilli + cauliflower florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

    Add capsicum, cabbage + salt and saute for few minutes till veggies turn soft yet crunchy. Cover and cook for around 2 minutes under low heat.

    Add tomato + potato + and sauté for 2 minutes.

    Add green peas also

    Add all spices + salt and stir well by adding little water.

    Stir fry till spices leaves oil, it takes around 3-4 minutes.

    Add rice, mix gently and cook for 6-7 minutes under medium flame, lastly switch off flame and add lemon juice. Cover it for around 1 minute.
    Tawa Pulao is ready.

    Hot and spicy Tawa Pulao is ready to serve with Masala Curd.
