Ingredients

Prep time-5 mins, Cooking time-60mins
4-5 servings
  1. For Modak
  2. 2 cupsFull Fat milk
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 cupdesiccated coconut
  5. 1 Tbsprose water
  6. 1/2 cupcoarse blend of almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios and green cardamom
  7. For chocolate filling
  8. 1 cupmilk chocolate melted
  9. For garnish
  10. 1 tspdry fruits blended coarsely as garnish
  11. 1 Tbspmelted chocolate

Cooking Instructions

Prep time-5 mins, Cooking time-60mins

    In a wok add full fat milk and sugar and bring it to boil. Keep stirring until reduced to half. Desiccated coconut

  2. 2

    In a blender add all dry fruits and blend coarsely

  3. 3

    Keep stirring the milk and when half, add desiccated coconut and rose water.

  4. 4

    Keep stirring until a mashed potato consistency is reached, set aside to cool completely

  5. 5

    In a double boiler method melt milk chocolate and set aside

  6. 6

    Add the fry fruits mix to milk and mix well.

  7. 7

    Grease the Modak mould and grease your palm. Add the milk coconut mix to the mould and cover all parts inside, add 1 tsp chocolate filling and close with the mix, demould and set aside

  8. 8

    Plate and drizzle melted chocolate on top of Modak and sprinkle some coarsely blended dry fruits.
