Ingredients

3 serves
  1. 500 gramsmethi and palak (approx)
  2. 2Brinjals
  3. 1big onion
  4. 1tomato
  5. 4 clovesGarlic
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tspchilli powder
  8. 1 tspCoriander powder
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 Glasswater
  11. 1 tbspoil
  12. 1 tspmustard and cumin seeds
  13. 1/2 tspAsafoetida

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and finely chopped methi and palak,. Wash it again and put it in the strainer to Remove the water.
    Chop the tomato, onion garlic and brinjals.

    In a pan add oil, mustard, Cumin seeds and Asafoetida.
    Add garlic and onion,and saute nicely.
    Now add tomato and salt.
    When the tomato turns mashy,
    Add brinjal and water.let it cook a bit,cover the pan.

    Now add chilli, coriander and turmeric powder.
    Then add drained methi palak, mix with brinjal and masala.
    Cover the lid and cook till it cooks completely.
    Switch off the flame.

    Subji is ready.
    Transfer in the bowl.
    Serve with rice,Fulka roti or millet roti.
    Enjoy..
