Ingredients

  1. Tofu (125 g) grated / pressed
  2. 1 tbspnutritional yeast flakes
  3. 1/2 tbspapple cider vinegar
  4. 1/2 tbspolive oil
  5. 1 tspdried onion flakesv
  6. 1 tspdried minced garlic
  7. 1 tspdried chives
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1/4 tspdried dill
  10. Toast assembly
  11. 1 tspolive oil
  12. 2 slicesrustic bread
  13. 1medium tomato sliced
  14. 1 tbspbasil,sliced optional (garnished)
  15. Olive oil
  16. Ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add the whipped tofu ingredients to a small food processor. Blend until smooth.

    Add the oil to a large pan on medium-high heat. Toast the bread until golden on both sides.

    Spread a generous amount of whipped tofu on the toasted bread.

  4. 4

    Top with tomato slices and basil. Optionally, finish with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of salt, and cracked pepper. Enjoy

    Storage :-

    ■ The tofu spread can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
