  1. 3/4 cupAll purpose flour/ maida -
  2. 1 tspBaking powder -
  3. 1 tbspVanilla custard -
  4. 100 gms / 1/2 cupButter -
  5. 3/4 cupSugar -
  6. 2Eggs -
  7. 1 tspGrated lemon zest -
  8. 1 tspLemon juice -

Cooking Instructions

    Sieve all purpose flour / maida and baking powder together.

  2. 2

    Take a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and mix until creamy and fluffy.

  3. 3

    Beat the egg and add it.

  4. 4

    Add all purpose flour/ maida and baking powder and mix well

  5. 5

    Add grated lemon zest in it.

  6. 6

    Add lemon juice and mix well.

  7. 7

    Preheat oven to 150 degree c.

    Grease and dust with flour a 9 inch round baking cake pans.

  9. 9

    Pour the batter into dish.

  10. 10

    Bake for 20 mins. in the preheat oven.

  11. 11

    Now the lemon cake is ready.

    Check by inserting a knife, if it comes out clear it done
