Orange Hazelnut Cookies with Chocolate Chips
Here is a quick & easy recipe for delicious drop cookies with soft & crumbly texture. Toasted hazelnuts match perfectly with orange flavor. The small amount of sugar produces a mild sweetness, which allows you to taste the chocolate better.
Cooking Instructions

In the bowl of your mixer put butter & sugar. Beat until light & fluffy.

Add salt, orange zest, vanilla extract and the egg. Mix for 2 min. Continue adding the orange juice.

Sift half of the flour & the baking powder into the mixture. Beat slowly for 2 min. Mix in the hazelnuts & the chocolate chips.

Sift the rest of the flour into the mixture & beat slowly until well combined. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 min.

Dip two teaspoons or a small scoop in a bowl with water. Scoop cookies & drop them on baking sheets covered with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated oven, at 180°C / 350°F, for 20 min.

Put them on a wire rack and wait for them to cool completely. Enjoy!
