材料

8 people
  1. beef for stew (fatty) 4 lbs
  2. sweet onion 4 large piece
  3. garlic 4 cloves
  4. salt 1 tbs
  5. pepper 1 tbs
  6. red wine 1 cup
  7. beef broth 4 cups
  8. water as needed

作り方

  1. 1

    Cut beef in 1 inch cube. Slice sweet onion. Chop garlic.

    Sauté beef in dutch oven. Add salt and pepper. Brown beef.

    Add red wine and wait until alcohol is evaporated.

  4. 4

    Remove beef from pot and put aside.

  5. 5

    Cook onion in the same pot with garlic until soft.

    Add beef to the pot. Mix together. Add beef broth.

  7. 7

    Once boiled, lower heat. Cook 2 hours. Turn off the heat.

    Next day heat up the pot. Once boiled add curry paste.

  9. 9

    Lower the heat and keep stirring from the bottom of pot.

  10. 10

    Turn off heat after 20 min of stirring.

  11. 11

    Next day turn on heat and stir from the bottom of pan.

  12. 12

    Serve with rice

コツ・ポイント

When stirring use wooden spatula to scrape the bottom of the pot to prevent burning. Beef should be fatty.
