Add Cooksnap

1 cupbutter/margarine
2&1/2 cups plain flour
3large eggs
1&1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tspsoda bicarb
1/2 tspsalt
1&1/2 cup sugar
2 tspvanilla essence
1 cupmilk
2 tbspgrated chocolate or choco chips
1 tbsplemon zest & some juice of the same
sticksChocolate mint
1big bowl cream, whipped

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven @160°c. Line 2 tins 8" or 1 large tin

In a bowl mix sugar & butter. Beat till light & fluffy

In another bowl mix flour,baking powder,baking soda,salt. Sieve set aside

Now add 1 egg at a time to the butter mixture, then the vanilla essence.Now add flour in 3 additions & milk in 2 additions, finishing with flour. Don't overmix.

Now add the lemon juice,zest& mix. Then add the chocolate chips. Mix lightly

Pour in prepared tins & bake for 1&1/2 hour or till done

Once done, let it cool. Decorate with cream & chocolate decorations

Cake turns out very tasty but i dint have whipped cream so did chocolate ganache on top only..
