When the oil heats up, add in sliced onions and fry for some minutes.

Fish and Shrimp Potpie
I love pot pies but hate the fuss of the dough and think good pot pie "innards" don't even need it. Feel free to add any other seafood to this recipe or change it up all together and use chicken instead of seafood with all the veggies. Easy recipe to double and the leftovers are just as great!

Simple Anchovy Pasta
I had left over anchovy and parsley, so I made this pasta for a weekend lunch. As the anchovy is salty, I do not add salt in the Step 6. Season with salt if required. In the Step 6, I add the cooking water, you may feel it is too much, but do not worry. The water will evaporate in the end. For 2 servings. Recipe by Yuzuyuzu

Basic Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino.
I made this because I wanted to master a really basic cooking technique.I was able to make it tasty without adding artificial flavoring, soup stock granules, or konbu based dashi stock. If you crush the garlic with your knife rather than mincing it, it will be soft and fragrant. Make sure not to burn the red chili peppers. The biggest key is to emulsify the oil. Spring Roasted Veggie Casserole
Growing up our home was always filled with all sorts of delicious smells when my mom was cooking, but this specific dish was truly one of my top favorites. Such a delicious combination of veggies that I am sure everyone will enjoy eating. I was tempted to add Spinach and Mushrooms, but I thought I would save it for a delicious recipe that I have in mind for later on. 🙂 When I first started blogging this was one of the first recipes I posted with far less ingredients, because I wasn’t actually sure what to do and how to do it back then, but now I feel a bit more at ease and so I tried it out again. 🙂 (working on taking photos helped me but I do still have a long way to go)So, I do love to add peppers into most of the veggies recipes that I make…I like how colorful the dish looks and the taste is sometimes just a bit sweeter depending of course on which peppers you will be using. 🙂 In this recipe most add garlic, and since I am the only one who does not eat garlic, I make two batches so that all can be satisfied. 🙂A Spring and Summer delight for anyone who loves veggies and just wants to eat something

Baked Spaghetti
I wanted a different type of eating my spaghetti so i tried it this way. You can play around with the herbs used on your sauce, the way you like it. You can add meat/pork to your sauce if you want it. Enjoy~!

Slow Cooker Jerk Chicken
For me, jerk chicken was a delicious treat that I only had at a restaurant. I never thought that I would make it for myself or if it would be any good. For our honeymoon, my wife and I went to Jamaica. Dang, the jerk chicken was amazing there, along with all of the other food we had down there. I did not want to leave. While walking along the beach there one day, we ran into the chef of the amazing jerk chicken that we had. He was such a nice guy. Taking the chance, I asked for the recipe. All he did was smile. That night at dinner, he came out to our table, handed us a piece of paper, and then returned to the kitchen.Somehow, we scored the recipe. I tried it once, before we got the slow cooker. It was good, but not as good as his. We did not have any scotch bonnet peppers, so we did not have that great taste. I used to make my own jerk spice blend, from the recipe that he gave us. It is amazing on pizza. Try it one day. For this recipe, I included the blend that he gave us.This go around, I cheated and used a store bought jerk spice blend. I do not have the time right now to make it on my own. But once I do, I will. You betchum! I went online to see how I could convert this recipe to a slow cooker. It was not that hard. This will go great with anything, especially coconut rice and peas.Enjoy!
