Well, this is technically the 4th meal with the steak and 2nd for the pork butt. Over the Easter holiday we had a cook out. My husband used the last of the sirloin to make his baked beans. I wish he’d give me the recipe lol my daughter took some pork butt and the rest went into the pot with the leftover beans. Very hearty and very delicious. Something easy to throw together in a couple of minutes when you have a Fridge full of leftovers.

I thought I had refried beans and well I didn’t and the recipe I was making called for it, so I came up with this... and because I was already using taco seasoning for the dish I was making I added it to the beans too. I was making my beans dip and I didn’t have the main ingredient lol.... this recipe turned out awesome and I might be making my refried beans this way for now on, way better than the can stuff, and so easy.

Crispy Soy Beans with Miso and Walnuts
I came up with this delicious side dish for my husband who loves drinking and doesn't like soy beans He can eat up 100 g soy beans all by himself.① The key to having crispy texture is not to use the chopsticks (It prevents the batter from coming off.) ② It tastes better to use hard boiled soy beans I make hard boiled soy beans, and cook some more if I have to depending on the dish, or use them as is. Fried Green Beans with Scrumbled Eggs
This food is one of my mom's favorite recipes for her children. When I was kid, for a working mom like her, preparing this food was an advantegous because of its timeless to prepare and its rich taste as well. Green beans are great in taste and in texture. They are sweet and crunchy. For any cook with green beans, the key is always "dont cook them too long or you will loose their great taste".

Homestyle Green Beans
This is hands down my favorite way to eat green beans, and nothing beats using fresh. Unless using your pressure cooker, cooking fresh green beans this way takes quite some time, but is still super easy.Additionally, this may seem like a lot of salt, but you're seasoning the water to flavor the beans. They don't soak up much water, and you won't be eating/drinking the water so it's all good.

Piyaz (White Bean Salad)
Salads with beans or grains is a great way to support your protein intake. Try this recipe with whatever beans and greens you have. You won’t regret!

Grandma's Quick Black Beans
As part of the #demuertosareyes challenge, I've decided to preserve some of my mom's recipes for posterity. Every family has its own way of preparing beans; this is how she taught me to cook black beans, as she seasons other types differently. They're delicious freshly cooked with chopped onion, cilantro, and chili. Plus, they're very nutritious. #healthy #DASH

Ohagi with Adzuki Beans and Kinako Powder
This is a quicker way to cook adzuki beans.I shape my ohagi a bit on the small side.Adding salt to the adzuki bean paste and rice is key. Baby Lima Beans with Ham and Greens

I'm researching recipes which incorporate lots of soy beans. If you have dried basil, add about 1 teaspoon during Step 4.This gives it a more Italian taste. You can use sake instead of white whine if you don't have. Adjust the amount of salt to taste. For 4 servings. Recipe by Nacchi sencho
