[Farmhouse Recipe] Coleslaw [Farmhouse Recipe] Coleslaw
Sometimes I cook vegetables and fish after soaking it in saltwater that's close to the concentration of seawater. I made coleslaw the same way and it tasted great. Ever since, I use this recipe for coleslaw.■ For napa cabbage, use the stem than the leaves because it tastes better.■ Seawater salt concentrate is about 3.5%. This recipe uses 500 ml water, so use 17.5 g of coarse salt. 1 tablespoon (15 g) + 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) will be perfect. Watch out if you're using table salt because 1 tablespoon would be 18 g. Simple fast coleslaw Simple fast coleslaw
the first coleslaw recipe i made and loved, this is a variation of a recipe i found online. I use a food processor to shred the veggies. Before I got a food processor I would just criss-cross cut the cabbage and use a peeler on the carrot! Be careful not to use too much onion! shiori -
Our Family's Light and Refreshing Coleslaw Our Family's Light and Refreshing Coleslaw
I saw the original recipe in a cooking magazine, and then changed and adapted it to make the kind of refreshing, sour salad that I like. The cabbage will reduce in volume, so you can eat quite a lot of it!In order to enjoy the texture of the cabbage, cut it into rather thick julienne instead of shredding it very finely. Remember that the vegetables are already salted when seasoning the dressing. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by cureo cookpad.japan -

Mayonnaise Flavored Coleslaw Mayonnaise Flavored Coleslaw
Coleslaw is a firm favorite in our house. This time I made it with a mayonnaise-based dressing, and it was a hit. It may be even more popular than my original recipe! I think you see this type more often at prepared food counters.Drain off any excess moisture well in Step 1. Make the dressing by chopping the onion and parsley very finely and mixing everything together with a whisk. You can also mix it in a food processor. Adjust the amount of wine vinegar used to taste.
