My macaroni and cheese

Ingredients

about 30minutes
1box of noodles
  1. Spiral noodles
  2. Roux (butter + flour)
  3. Gouda cheese(shredded or chunks)
  4. Velveeta chedder cheese (shredded)
  5. Warmed milk + warmed heavy cream
  6. Cream cheese(optional)
  7. Garlic powder
  8. Onion powder
  9. Cayenne pepper
  10. Paprika
  11. Black pepper
  12. Salt
  13. Bacon(optional)
  14. Bread crumbs

Cooking Instructions

    Boil spiral noodles

  2. 2

    Start roux in another pan medium high heat (half a stick of butter) (3tbsp) (4tbsp flour)

  3. 3

    When butter is melted and starts to kinda boil gradually but quickly add in flour, whisk and continue to very fast. About 2 minutes, dont let get clumpy, the hardest part. If cant get all of flour in use a little bit less

    Add in warmed milk gradually and continue to whisk (2 1/2cups), add in warmed heavy cream gradually (1/2 cup), or instead of heavy cream add cream cheese about 1/3-1/2 of block (optional)

    Continue to stir

  6. 6

    Add garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper and salt and mix

  7. 7

    Let simmer for about 10 minutes on medium heat, stir occasionally

  8. 8

    Slowly add shredded velveeta cheedar cheese in on low heat till liking, handful by handful, let completely melt, make sure to taste

  9. 9

    Slowly add small chunks or shredded gouda cheese in till liking, let completely melt, make sure to taste

  10. 10

    Continue to stir slowly though

  11. 11

    Add more spices to liking, specifically garlic, paprika, and salt, then taste

  12. 12

    Take off of stove

  13. 13

    Mix in bread crumbs and mozzarella cheese

  14. 14

    Put more bread crumbs and cheese on top (optional)

  15. 15

    Add bacon bits (optional)

  16. 16

    Lightly bake in oven for 10-15minutes or till liking (optional)

    Let cool some and serve
