My signature stew

Yes cooking is a diversity, we all have a different ways of cooking that’s what make everyone’s cooking different. Ranging from the spices we use, the time it takes the food to be cooked, the procedures and many more. Yes I know we all know how to make stew but then here’s my own method with a little twist that will be a great taste.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
My number one secret is I always use freshly ground spices
- 2
I infused the oil first with cardamom, bay leaf, anise, fresh garlic and ginger, pepper corns and chilies before removing them and add the blended veggies.
- 3
Secondly I grill the meat or beef first after marinating it for at least 3 hrs. instead of boiling them. I do both methods but this one is my favorite.
- 4
I don’t boil the blended veggies differently this will makes all the water to evaporate leaving you with a dry veggies. Instead I fry them directly in the infused oil
- 5
The fresh herbs(celery, parsley, cilantro, basil,) ginger garlic paste, sugar what so ever you’re using comes 10 minutes before taking the pot off the heat. This will make their flavors to be well acknowledged.
- 6
- 7
You don’t need to over cook them else the flavor will vanished and your stew will have this slightly bitter taste
- 8
My favorites spices while making stew are: Italian mixed herbs. A good curry, touch of nutmeg, basil,
- 9
Don’t forget to use chicken or beef stock instead of water. I always have chicken or beef broth in my fridge for making quick dinners or to skyrocket the flavor in my cooking
- 10
I hope these tips helps

Etouffee-inspired seafood stew Etouffee-inspired seafood stew
This was originally going to be a pretty straightforward shrimp etouffee, but our supermarket had a sale on fresh cod and scallops, and I couldn't resist. Despite the change in plan, the actual cooking process remained pretty much the same. The resulting dish was familiar yet different, and pretty darned tasty. A nice change from the usual chowder. DOC Chicken Stew DOC Chicken Stew
I got the inspiration for this while at the academy for the Illinois Department of Corrections. We ate prison food, but one dish was particularly enjoyable. They made this sort of... well, chicken stew. I don't know what else to call it. It was DELICIOUS! So I decided to make it myself. With some improvements of course 😁 Whitetrash Gastronome -
Pork Stew with Rutabaga Pork Stew with Rutabaga
I created this for dinner last night and the husband says it's a keeper. The rich stew goes well with a side of rice. I think this tastes even better the next day, after the rutabaga has had a chance to mellow. If you make it let me know! I love to hear what you think about my recipes! Adam Janowski -
