Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmoong dal
  2. 2-3 cups toor dal
  3. 1 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 &1/2 teaspoon Jeera,dhaniya cinnamon,cloves dry roasted powder
  5. 2dry red chillies
  6. 1 &1/2 tablespoonsghee
  7. as per tastesalt
  8. as requiredwater
  9. 1 tspfresh black pepper powder
  10. 1 tbspgrated coconut
  11. 1/2 teaspoonjeera
  12. Pinchhing
  13. 1/3 teaspoonmustard seeds
  14. As neededchopped pumpkin
  15. 1 chopped raw banana
  16. 1 cup chopped elephants foot
  17. 1 cup arbi
  18. 1small chopped brinjal
  19. 1 chopped sweet potato
  20. 1 cupchopped papaya
  21. 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger

Cooking Instructions

    First cut vegetables and wash adding water, take bowl put two types of dal to the bowl wash using water two to three times then soaked in water for twenty minutes.

    Now heat the pressure cooker put soaked dal then put all vegetables next add water.put turmeric powder to the pressure cooker next add salt and black pepper powder closed the pressure cooker with the lid give two cities and switch off the flame when pressure goes naturally open the lid and keep it aside.

    Now add jeera dhania dry roasted powder to the pressure cooker and mix well.

    Adjust the salt. Now put kadhai on the oven put ghee when it is ready add jeera,hing finely chopped ginger, dry red chilli fry all put all to the pressure cooker and give it a good mix, add grated coconut mix again.

    I am making this recipe for temple type Dalma, so presentation is also different now take an earthen pot put dalma to the pot spread more ghee next add jeera dhaniya powder next add grated coconut.

    Delicious temple type dalma is ready for serving.
