Coto Makassar / Beef Soup Coto Makassar / Beef Soup
This is Coto Makassar or beef soup in peanut gravy, it is made from beef and beef tripe, a famous Indonesian traditional food originating from Makassar, South Sulawesi. This dish traditionally serves with ketupat or buras or just with steamed white rice. And Indonesians love to eat this coto with sambal tauco (chili sauce with fermented soy bean). I did not make the sambal tauco this time because I added some chilies in my gravy. So, this coto was already spicy. Wiwik Sunariyah -
Very Easy Soup Pasta Very Easy Soup Pasta
I leaned this recipe from my friend, and she learned it from her friend. It's really easy but delicious!!This is my preference, but soft pasta absorbs more flavor and it tastes more delicious The soup will thicken as you simmer it, and it will be tasty. It's also delicious to add chicken or salmon to your liking.Black pepper gives the pasta a nice kick that a grown-up palate would enjoy. Palm nut soup/ ofe akwu Palm nut soup/ ofe akwu
I love food lol but my favorite soup of all, is this beautiful palm nut soup. The flavor of the palm nut is indescribable and delicious 😋! The palm tree is just amazing that you can get wine from it and it’s no low class wine either! Palm oil is a must for a lot of Igbo dishes and of course the palm nut soup 🍜 is time consuming but so worth it ! ifuchi -

Sunflower Soup (Sup Bunga Matahari) Sunflower Soup (Sup Bunga Matahari)
This dish originally comes from Solo, a big town in Central Java, Indonesia. We call it Sunflower soup because its shape is similar as sunflower. The unique thing about this dish is only available/served in some wedding parties in Solo. So far I have never found any restaurants in Indonesia that have this dish on their menu. This is my first attempt to make it and it is very technical, but to see how the way it turns out and how delicious and fresh the taste is (my family loves it), I am sure I will cook this again in the future.
