Pan-fried Garlic Chilli Broccoli

Dishwasher’s drainpipe was chewed by mice and leaking for a long time unnoticed. That’s why I have been cooking in the bathroom using a portable induction hob. The kitchen floor is not yet repaired and I miss my oven so much. If I’ve had an access to my oven, I wouldn’t have cooked this dish, however, I have found that this frying-pan method is easier and quicker than oven-roasting.

How to Boil Broccoli How to Boil Broccoli
I love broccoli so I was trying out simple boiling methods. This method requires barely any water so it's more like steaming. With this method, you can really taste the difference in broccoli from varying regions and farms. Even my kindergarten-aged daughter could tell the difference.Steps 4-5: The amount of time to cook will vary depending on the size of the broccoli. If you want to use the broccoli in stew etc., then remove the lid right after stopping the heat. If you are making these for small children, then leave the lid on for 2 more minutes after turning off the heat. Recipe by Blue poppy cookpad.japan -

Pan-fried Cheese & Potato Pan-fried Cheese & Potato
When I was a financially challenged Uni student, I often cooked this cheese & potato snack using a mini toaster oven. However, a non-stick frying pan works better. If you don’t have a non-stick frying pan, you can place a sheet of baking paper in a frying pan, so that the melted cheese won’t stick to the pan. It’s a cheep but yummy snack, that brings back a memory of my Uni days. Hiroko Liston -

Baked Broccoli with Bechamel, Egg, and Turkey Ham Baked Broccoli with Bechamel, Egg, and Turkey Ham
Although broccoli season is from November to April, luckily, we can still enjoy it in May and June. My friend Juli shared this recipe with me. We've adapted it a bit because the original recipe steamed the broccoli, but we prefer the flavor when it's baked. At home, we usually make the BECHAMEL sauce, but if you don't want to complicate things, you can buy it pre-made. If you decide to make it yourself, you can see how we do it in the last step. The original recipe uses serrano ham, so if you prefer, you can swap one ham for the other. You can also use a whole broccoli and, instead of one egg, boil two. You would need to add a bit more diced ham. The result is spectacular 😋 luheTranslated from Cookpad Spain
