Homemade Strawberry Syrup
I was so excited while seing strawberries at the market, and made it into a very tasty syrup, this can made for light or heavy syrup. If it's light syrup, just use ratio 1 : 1 : 1 for the sugar : strawberries : liquid. If heavy syrup you could use ratio 1 : 1 : 1/2.

Rich Ginger Syrup Made with Spring Ginger
This ginger syrup takes advantage of the color of spring ginger. I made a rich syrup that just uses the moisture that is exuded by the spring ginger. Add this syrup to milk to make ginger milk. You can use any kind of sugar you like, but if you want to enjoy the pink color of spring ginger, use white castor sugar or granulated sugar.Enjoy the syrup in water, milk, tea, shochu (liquor) or any thing you like. If you add it to soda water, you'll have homemade ginger ale! Recipe by @rinrinmaru

Baklava with Lemon Syrup
I'm not really a syrup kind of pastry fan, I am more of a white chocolate with strawberry fan. :) But because I do love to cook and bake I decided to make this Greek Syrup Pastry. The Almonds and Walnuts added to this pastry, along with the lemon syrup just gives a really delicious taste.I do enjoy eating a piece of Baklava once in a while....:)

Kumquats Simmered In Rich Sugar Syrup
It's here! Kumquat season! So, I decided to make my regular kumquats in sugar syrup. I tried using raw cane sugar as the sugar, which made the flavor rich and mild - a big success. If the bitterness bothers you, bring the kumquats to a boil first and drain before simmering them in the sugar syrup.I use this in recipes a lot, so I made a big amount during kumquat season, and froze it. If you want to eat it plain, it's best enjoyed fresh instead of freezing it. For an easy to make amount. Recipe by yaburie

Persimmon & Maple Syrup Yogurt
I don't like to eat overly ripe and soft persimmon as is. I tried adding maple syrup before and thought it was so good.It goes very well with yogurt too.I love simple food, and thought this was really delicious.I used ripe persimmon. I recommend ripe persimmon since they are tender and delicious, but firm persimmons good too. Choose whichever you like.Even a persimmon that doesn't taste good can be rescued with this recipe.Adjust the amount of maple syrup (or honey) to taste. 1 serving: 100 kcal. Recipe by rose12

Apricots In Syrup
I happened to find some fresh apricots at the supermarket one day and challenged myself to preserve them in syrup. It's been 4 years since my first attempt. The first year I just made a small amount, and perhaps because of that it was a big success. The next year I reduced the sugar, but that version wasn't sweet enough, so I took the syrup out of the jar and added more sugar. On the 3rd year I wasn't able to seal the top on properly, so I had to throw away half of the 5 kilos I'd preserved.Make sure to pack the jar tightly. If you put the apricots in neatly, there will be no gaps after adding the syrup. 200 g of sugar and 200 ml of water is not enough sometimes, so I've listed a generous amount of syrup ingredients. The white liquor is used as insurance against spoilage if you aren't able to achieve a proper vacuum seal. Made in Advance Caramel Syrup
I wanted to eliminate the bother of making a new batch of caramel syrup each time by making a large batch all at once.It will continue to brown even after removing it from heat, so work quickly until you add the boiling water. The caramel will sputter out when you add the boiling water. Since there is danger of burning, I use a strainer. Also, in order to prevent soiling my work area, I make it in the sink. Recipe by Pekopuku

Easy Homemade 'Kuromitsu' Brown Sugar Syrup
In the summertime, I often want to eat kanten (agar-agar) jellies.I received lump brown sugar as a gift, so I referred to a cookbook from Okinawa to make this syrup. When reducing the syrup, take care not to let it boil over. If you let the syrup burn, it will become bitter, so keep mixing as you simmer. For people who wrote in concerned about the syrup crystallizing while chilling, the syrup was OK for 10 days. For an easy to make amount. Recipe by tearstar

Elderflower Syrup
The month of May gives us a special flower... the elderflower... it has a delicate fragrance and is suitable for many culinary preparations... but it is especially famous for its syrup.

Translated from Cookpad Italy

Elderflower Syrup
In June you can find blooming elder everywhere here. In parks, gardens or at forest borders. I love the fragrance of the umbels and they make a very fine syrup. When I go out to collct the umbels I make shure not to harvest the whole bush but to only pick three to four umbels per bush. I am very lucky to have some of these bushes in my family and friends gardens and they let me pick the flowers in exchange of some syrup. Storebought elderflower syrup is fine but it is more fun and luscious to make it yourself. Mix it with water, wine or Prosecco, add strawberries or mint or both or add a tbsp to a fruit salad.Hope you like it!

Peppermint Syrup (5 Ingredients)
My brother loves peppermint. I made some for him. My family likes it as well. You can add hot or cold water, even soda, to this syrup. If you're into cocktails, you can use this syrup as well. This recipe yields about 600-650 ml of syrup. You can increase or decrease the amount of mint. Bear in mind that the ratio for sugar and water for simple syrup is 1:1.

Honey Ginger Syrup (Ginger Tea)
Up until recently, I had just been soaking ginger in honey, but my aunt taught me how to make ginger syrup. The amount of sugar used to make the candied ginger should be 20% the weight of the original amount of ginger used when making syrup.Adding 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the syrup makes it taste delicious (for ginger tea and sweets), but since the syrup can also be used for cooking, I decided that it's best to leave it out.Even after 1 day of soaking the ginger will produce a lot of extract, but don't be impatient! Allow the ginger to slowly soak for 5 days. It will result in a mildly spicy delicious syrup. While soaking in Step 3, give the jar a shake from time to time to dissolve the honey. In Step 5, remove the scum when simmering. Recipe by La Land

Japanese plum syrup
Japanese plum syrup makes a great drink for summer!! Ume (plums) is known to be good for health and beauty in Japan. When you feel exhausted from summer heat, try this! My daughters also enjoy over shaved ice!!

Steamed Bread Smileys with Shaved Ice Syrup
I made cookies with shaved ice syrup. I was wondering if I could use the syrup for something else and though of making steamed buns with it. It's colorful, so my son loves it. I gave him a decorating pen, and he started to draw on the buns. It would make a nice gift, especially with decorating pens, for a family with kids. You only need to mix everything together. It's so easy so that kids can make it. The syrup is for the color and the aroma... It tastes better with the chocolate pen decorations. I scattered finely grated coconut on top but it's not sweetened, so you may add sugar to it. It may be good to add bananas or chocolate chips in the batter I made with strawberry and melon syrup. The batter is pretty loose, so I placed the aluminum cups in oven safe dishes when steaming. Recipe by Sugamiho
