Ingredients

  1. 2 cupIdly rava
  2. 1 cupUrrad dal
  3. 2 tbspPoha thick
  4. 1 tspMethi seeds
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Soak 1 cup of urraddal + thick poha and methi seeds for 8 hours.

  2. 2

    Grind it in mixer the next day. Let it be in a warm place for 8 hours until the batter raises a bit.

  3. 3

    Keep it for 24 hours and then add idly rava and sugar and make slightly thick batter. Once the batter is ready, pour the batter in idli plates. Heat it on medium flame for 15-20 minutes. serve hot with Sambhar or chutney
