Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak Idli rice and Toor dal for 3 hours. Then drain and take it in a blender. Add ginger and red chilli while grinding. Grind them smoothly and transfer to a bowl.

For tempering, heat a pan with oil and add mustard seed, urad dal, curry leaves and finely chopped onions. Once it is tempered, let it cool for five minutes. Then add this into the batter. Add coriander leaves and salt and mix them well.

Heat a dosa tawa. Pour ladleful of batter and make dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides. Cook till golden on both sides.

Then ready to serve.

Note: Add tempered stuff into the batter after the stuff is cooled.
