Spring Potatoes and Sweet Onions Flavored with Miso

Since seasonal veggies were less expensive compared to others, I wanted to see what I could make with them.
Microwave the potatoes to a just edible tenderness. If overcooked, they will break in the pan.
For aromata, once the miso is in the pan, the heat should be just high enough to brown the ingredients.
Adjust the amount of miso depending on the size of the vegetable pieces and the saltiness of the miso. Recipe by Harukomachi

I just somehow thought that steaming will keep the flavor from escaping. It's also plenty good without cheese and just the dengaku miso. Recipe by Miyacchu cookpad.japan -

Sweet potato leaves are not my favorite, mainly because it's so readily available in the restaurants, it's tough to imitate or create anything different. Nevertheless I was pleasantly surprised how close the sauce is to the traditional fu ru taste minus the additives & sugar content.mings
