I wanted to make a delicious snack using leftover grated cheese.

Cookies are soft right out of the oven, but they will be sweet and crunchy as they cool down.
You can store them in the freezer at step 3. Recipe by Miruty

Ingredients

  1. 120 gramsCake flour
  2. 30 gramsSugar
  3. 60 gramsMargarine
  4. 20 gramsGrated cheese
  5. 1teaspoon~ Milk

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Add the cake flour and sugar into a thick plastic bag and shake it. Add margarine to the bag and rub everything together.

  2. 2

Add the grated cheese and rub to mix evenly. If they don't come together at this step, add a teaspoon of milk to adjust.

  3. 3

Roll the dough into a stick shape. Size and shape does not matter. Cool in the freezer for it to harden a little bit, so it will be easier to cut.

  4. 4

Cut the dough horizontally into 5 mm thick pieces and line on a baking sheet. Bake for 17 minutes in a preheated 170°C oven.
