Delicious Simmered Meat and Tofu with Mentsuyu

I cooked this dish just because the expiration date of the tofu was approaching.

There are no tips or helpful hints.
The seasoning is only mentsuyu, so it's very easy!

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 400 gramsTofu
  2. 200 gramsPork
  3. 1Shirataki (konnyaku noodles)
  4. 1Aburaage
  5. 100 mlMentsuyu (diluted)
  6. 200 mlWater

Cooking Instructions

    Stir-fry the shirataki noodles in vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in advance.

    Heat vegetable oil and a small amount of sesame oil in a pot, and stir-fry the meat until the colour changes.

    Pour in the diluted mentsuyu, and add roughly chopped ingredients.

  4. 4

    Cover with a small lid that sits right on top of the food (otoshibuta), and simmer for about 15 ~ 20 minutes over low heat. Then it's done.
