Ingredients

6 servings
  1. I bunch of Ugu leaves
  2. leavesWater
  3. Dried fish
  4. Kpomo
  5. Crayfish
  6. Goat meat(any protein of your choice)
  7. Palm oil
  8. Seasoning cubes preferably Knorr or Terra cubes
  9. Stock fish
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Pepper
  12. Periwinkle (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash both pumpkin and water leaves and slice them thinly separately into bowls and set them aside.

    In a clean pot, add your protein,fish,stock fish and periwinkle,

    Add pepper and seasoning cubes with salt. Cook till tender adding water to make a stock ready.

    Upon boiling, add palm oil to the pot and let to boil for few minutes

  5. 5

    Add the chopped waterleaves to be properly cooked.

  6. 6

    Lastly add the chopped pumpkin leaves to the boiling pot. For a fresh and green looking soup, do not let it simmer for too long.

    The soup is ready and can be eaten with any choice of swallow.
