Simple Side Dish with Eggplants
In summertime, I receive a large amount of eggplants, so I cook them in a variety of ways. The amount of soy sauce may vary depending on how much you drain the excess moisture from the eggplants. Start with two swirls.Make sure you drain the eggplants after they have cooled down to avoid burning yourself. For 2 eggplants' worth. Recipe by xxyuzumikanxx

Healthy & Easy Side Dish with Mizuna and Pork
It might not look too great in the photograph, but it was so delicious when I made it with the things I had in my fridge.I think it tastes better if you use thinly sliced pork thigh. I used 130 g pork offcuts, but I think 150 g should be just right when serving 2 persons. The ingredients won't stick to the frying pan because they're steamed without draining the mizuna. Recipe by Ponchan

For one more side dish: Chilled Tofu with Tomato and Okra
I often put garlic olive oil soy sauce with tomato on tofu, but it's also good if you add cut okra.Mince or grate garlic if you can. If you can't, the tubed variety of grated garlic can work. The key is not to slice okras but to cut them into blocks. They'll have a better texture this way. Peel the tomato skin if you don't like it. Recipe by Puyupuyu

An Easy Side Dish Salad with Crispy Bacon and Daikon Radish
Because I had 2 daikon radishes...The fat from the bacon will solidify if you chill too much in the refrigerator, so I recommend to keep it at room temperature.I divided the process into many steps so it would be easy to understand. When you are stir-frying the bacon at Step 6 with a lid and it's not browning evenly, use the lid as a shield and stir the bacon around occasionally. No need to be too diligent though.Use as much ponzu sauce and lemon juice as you like! For 2 to 4 servings. Recipe by santababy

With Pork A Side Dish Treat Deli Salad
I want to think up a quick and easy recipe that has lots of nutrients You can enjoy this all year round with your favorite vegetables.Avocado, potato... it goes well with anything so I often make this. This looks delicious in a bento if you wipe excess oil and then let it cool. All of the ingredients for the sauce are used in a 1:1 ratio, so adjust the amounts to the same desired portion sizes. You can exchange the broccoli for broccoli sprouts, spinach, asparagus, or other in-season veggies. For 2~3 servings. Recipe by Emimafin

Easy Side Dish♪ Bok Choy and Squid Salt Stir-fry
I had bok choy and squid in the fridge and I improvised! This is what I came up with. The final result will be better if you add to the pan separately - stems and then leaves.Adjust the amount of salt to your liking. Recipe by JACK0904

The Best Side Dish! Hawaiian Ahi Poke
At the end of last year I bought some tuna chunks for cheap from a discount store.Luckily for me it contained some chunks of good medium-fat chutoro tuna lol.So I used this tuna to make my kid's favorite ahi poke.Ogo is a type of seaweed that you often see used as a garnish on sashimi. This ahi poke will still be delicious without it.By the way I recommend trying this in a rice bowl as well. A side dish of Brussels Sprouts
Merry Christmas….I hope you all had a lovely day and a delicious dinner or lunch. We had a small family gathering for lunch yesterday at my home, this year was different much quieter, not much laughing, but we have a good friend visiting from Greece and he tried to cheer everyone up with his jokes, he did have some great jokes but our spirit was just not into it with the loss.Anyway on with the recipe, I cooked with the help of my mom, we got everything done a bit quicker so I didn’t have to spend Christmas day in the kitchen. Now, I know that not everyone loves Brussels Sprouts but they are quite delicious if you tweak them with lovely ingredients that just gives them a burst of taste. At the Christmas table yesterday we had the usual salads, potatoes, Turkey, and ohhhh I shouldn’t forget to mention that they all wanted Tzaziki added to the table. Now how in the world does this dish combine into the Christmas table I have no idea, but as they say “to each his own”.I wanted to add this lovely side dish for an extra little surprise, and they did enjoy eating it just as much as they did the Tzatziki!!

Spinach with Sesame Seed Side Dish
・ While spinach is a winter vegetable, it's generally available year-round to enjoy as a seasonal dish at any time.・The ceramic bowl shown in the photo is a Mishima rice bowl made by Mutsuhiko Shimura. It's a perfect size for side dishes, and the natural pattern, gloss, and deep green-tinged color make it an attractive dish for colorful items.・ When parboiling the spinach, if the leaves are boiled for too long, they will lose their texture, and the color will darken.・ To drain the excess water from the spinach, after parboiling, thoroughly squeeze the excess water with your hands. If it's too watery, the flavors will not hold. For 2 servings. Recipe by Ta-Ke-O
