Fried yam with dry fish sauce

Ingredients

30-40 minutes
2 people
  1. Halfa tuba of yam
  2. 1 1/2 cupDry fish (I used those small fried fish)
  3. 2 tablespoonTomato paste or 2 fresh tomatoes
  4. 2Red ball pepper
  5. 1Onions
  6. 2Seasoning
  7. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

30-40 minutes

    Peel, cut and wash yam. Deep fry in hot oil till crispy. Drain in a coriander or dry on a paper towel.

    In a pan, sauté onions and add tomatoes paste or blended tomatoes and pepper and stir well. Add seasoning. Let simmer for 2 minutes

    Remove the head of the fish (the head sometimes makes it bitter) and wash in hot water/or salt.

    Add the fish in the pan with a little water and let cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. It is done when the fish is soft and no more water. Enjoy with the fried yam🤤😋
