Ingredients

  1. 3 CupsDiced Apples
  2. 1/4 CupLight Brown Sugar
  3. 1 TablespoonGround Cinnamon
  4. 1/2 TablespoonCorn Starch
  5. 4 TablespoonsUnsalted Butter

Cooking Instructions

    Dice and clean about 3 medium apples. Place in a microwave safe bowl.

    Measure brown sugar, cinnamon, and corn starch into the bowl with the apples. Stir to coat evenly. Cut unsalted butter and place on apples.

    Place in microwave covered, but not tightly sealed. Cook for 5 minutes. **Warning mixture will be hot** Uncover. Stir. Check to see tenderness of apples. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes. Repeat until tender.

    Take care removing the bowl from the microwave. Serve warm. Serve as a side dish, to add something different to your pork chops, or to dress up a dessert.
