Curried Cauliflower

I asked my friend who's a good cook, "Tell me any side dish recipe that is easy to make," and she shared this with me. The taste of these curried cauliflowers is addictive. I sometimes eat half of a bunch of cauliflower by myself.
The amount of each ingredients are from my friend, but adjust the amount of curry powder as you like. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by Schnappi

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sizes. Boil in boiling water with a dash of salt. This cauliflower from the U.S. was big and I used half of it, but use a whole head if it's small.
- 2
Mix the ingredients marked ☆ in a medium sized bowl.
- 3
Drain water well from the cauliflower and put into the bowl of Step 2 while the cauliflower is hot. Mix evenly.
- 4
You can enjoy it immediately or after it has cooled down in the fridge. I put in too much curry powder this time, so the picture shows very yellow cauliflowers.

I have always loved puttering in the kitchen. When I was a child, I loved opening up our fridge and pantry, cabinets and spice racks. I wondered how many little things could blend in harmony and create deep flavors. My late mom enlisted my help in the kitchen since my early years. At first I began with peeling, chopping, tasting, then gradually to stirring, mixing and grounding spices (yes, we used pestle and mortar). I began baking cookies, simple brownies, then to cooking savory dishes. It all took time. And I am grateful for the memory, thankful that my mom was patient enough with me.Now that I have kids on my own, I'm teaching them to cook and letting them enjoy their time in the kitchen. Like me, they love to experiment in the kitchen. I made this and it turned out great! Angela Mertoyono -
