I usually season stir-fried asparagus and bacon with salt and pepper but I wanted to make something with different seasonings.
I was vaguely thinking that there might have been a pasta dish like this, and I added in a soft-set egg. That was a very tasty decision.

Before you eat it up, break open the soft-set eggs nicely and mix with the other ingredients. They're good with pasta or toast. For 2 servings. Recipe by Maruochan

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2bunches Asparagus
  2. 4rashers Bacon
  3. 2Soft Poached Eggs
  4. 1Black pepper
  5. 1Parmesan cheese
  6. 1Olive oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the bacon into 1 cm and asparagus into 5 cm.

  2. 2

Fry the bacon in olive oil and set aside from the pan. Fry the hard section of the asparagus first with the bacon fat and add the softer parts later on, since they'll cook through quicker.

  3. 3

After the asparagus are fried, transfer to a serving dish. Scatter with fried bacon. Place the soft set eggs on top and dress with the packaged sauce that accompanies the eggs (if available -- the store-bought kind often comes with sauce in Japan).

  4. 4

Sprinkle on parmesan cheese and black pepper.

  5. 5

This is a pasta version. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water with a little vegetable oil and mix with olive oil after cooking.

  6. 6

Place the asparagus, bacon and soft-set eggs on top of the pasta. If necessary, season with salt and black pepper.
