Is a simple yet delicious recipe, I love this protein pack sabji. Love to have it with roti.
Cooking Instructions

Soak moong dal for sometime before use.

In a pan add oil, let it heat up,then add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Then add in chopped chilli, garlic and ginger. Saute it well in oil.
Then add chopped onions and let it becomes translucent. - 3
Then add in chopped tomato and give it a good mix.
Add all spiced mention above and mix it well - 4
Now add soaked moong dal and mix it well then add 1/2 cup hot water,salt and sugar to taste and let it cook well under steam.(cover and cook)

Stir in between while sabji is cooking, don't let it burn.
Then add chopped coriander leaves and sabji is ready for serving. - 6
Just squeeze some lemon juice on top before serving and serve it with roti or simple dal rice.
