Ingredients

  1. Okra
  2. 1-1/2 poundsokra
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1 teaspoonmustard powder divided
  5. Brine/Pickling Solution
  6. 2 cupswhite distilled vinegar
  7. 2 cupswater
  8. 1/2 cupsugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add the brine ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil.

    In a clean sterilized jar add a pound of okra, salt, water, and mustard powder

  3. 3

    Pour the hot brine into the jar and put the lid on. Allow to cool and refrigerate for about 1 week. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
