Fermented Cabbage

Lina Bond @linachristmas2023
That’s a natural probiotic recipe. I like to add sunflower seeds to the ready product. cranberries also go with it really good.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop the cabbage
- 2
Peel and shred the carrots. Mix.
- 3
Transfer the mixture into the clean glass gar|gars. Pack it a bit. Fill with cold water.
- 4
Cover with the lid and leave for 2-3 days. If it’s hot at home it will be ready in 1-2 days. Ideally temperature should be around 20C. If the water uncovers from cabbage - push it down with the spoon. It’s a good idea to piece the cabbage with a wooden stick to the bottom once in a while.
- 5
When it’s ready keep in refrigerator. While serving you can add shredded ginger, lemon, cranberries or seeds to taste. Or salt if needed

Spicy cabbage
Cabbage is a leafy green, red, or white biennial plant grown as an annual vegetable crop for its dense-leaved heads. It is descended from the wild cabbage, and belongs to the "cole crops" or brassicas, meaning it is closely related to broccoli and cauliflower; Brussels sprouts; and Savoy cabbage. #madethis #heirloom

Simmered Cabbage and Aburaage
I wanted to eat cabbage packed with flavour...1. The texture of the cabbage is better without the stem, but you can slice it thinly and add it if you like. (It's sweet.)2. Taken in moderation, it's very tasty.
